ACOTE® Standards

Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) provides standards for occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant educational programs in the United States.

OTPF 4th Edition

This is a key resource for course development and syllabus creation. It is a must have document to support teaching and learning in alignment with program standards. This resource can be obtain through the American Occupational Therapy Association's website.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) should be embedded within course objectives, content, assignments, learning activities, and measures. Access the AOTA DEI Toolkit which includes learning modules and faculty case studies to provide professional development. Educators can access the NBCOT Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI) Reflection Points for professional development to better prepare for the embedding of these concepts within course objectives, content, learning activities, assignments, and measures.

Bloom's Taxonomy
